Jessica Wucherpfennig

Jessica holds a Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Pretoria in South
Africa. Over the course of her academic career, she has made a significant research
contribution to the field of tele-audiology and hearing healthcare in South Africa, and has 2
published articles in international academic journals including the American Academy of
Audiology. She has been awarded with Honorary Academic Colors from the University of
Pretoria for this achievement.

Jessica worked in the field of Audiology for 6 years in South Africa before immigrating to
Canada. Although the snow and icy Canadian winters has taken some getting used to, she
has found Calgary to be a beautiful and wonderfully welcoming city.

Jessica has worked with us since 2020 and has become an integral member of our
Audiology team at Audiology Innovations. Jessica is very knowledgeable about the medical
side of Audiology including areas such as sudden hearing loss, and is very technologically
savvy about latest hearing aid technological advancements.

Jessica enjoys assisting her patients improve their hearing health and consistently goes
above and beyond to help her patients and team members. She has created useful
resources for our patients to use to help guide them with caring for their hearing aids as well
as provided that bit of extra support to them by phone or email when she deems they could
benefit.

She is very proud to be part of the Audiology Innovations team awarded the 2022
Province of Alberta Minister’s seniors service award for service to seniors provided by a
business in Alberta.
