Linda Vorster
Linda completed her Hearing Aid Acoustician studies at the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2012, She also did her SAMTRAC international certificate in health and safety in 2013. Linda furthered her studies, focussing on tinnitus management through sound therapy, and completed her diploma as a Sound Therapist in 2021.
Linda has been actively working within the hearing industry since 2011 and owned and operated her own clinic for several years in South Africa.
Creating awareness about hearing health is something she is extremely passionate about. She believes that knowledge is power, and stives towards educating her patient, working together with her patients to improve their overall quality of life.
Linda goes above and beyond for our team and our patients. She spends her extra time creating useful educational resources for health care professionals about ear wax, and educational articles for our blog.
We are grateful for her knowledge and resources that she brings to our attention. Linda joined our Audiology Innovations team in 2022 as Audiology Assistant. Since Linda is from South Africa, she enjoys warm summer weather, however playing in the snow with her children here in Canada
brings her great joy.

We want to know what each patient’s unique hearing challenges are. We therefore complete a thorough audiometric test battery as well as ‘listening in noise’ testing. This gives us a better understanding of the ‘real world’ hearing abilities you have.
There is extensive research to show that early identification and treatment is critical to good brain health.
